It’s that time of the year again – setting New Year’s resolutions! 
 
Instead of giving up something, why not take something up this year and join our volunteers the award winning Avoniel Community Garden?

Victoria Park and Orangefield Park now reopened

Following yesterdays park closures we can now confirm that both parks are now are now reopened. We are so pleased that the flood defenses have held up so well in both parks.

Construction works update for December including closure notices...

Works on the Connswater Community Greenway continue to make good progress across East Belfast with over ten work fronts currently open.

Most notably this week our contractor is scheduled to begin resurfacing works in the Orby Road area, which will involve the following road closures:

1.    Road Closure - Monday 7 December - Friday 11 December 

2.    Road Closure - Monday 14 December – Friday 18 December 

Connswater Community Greenway 2016 Calendar Competition Launches

We have teamed up with Connswater Shopping Centre to launch the Connswater Community Greenway 2016 Calendar Competition.

Throughout 2015, we have been receiving the most amazing pictures of the Connswater Community Greenway taken by you.

Excitement builds for Narnia Sculptures for our C.S. Lewis Square...

Last Saturday (28th November) we went on a Bus Trip to Burt, Donegal to visit local artist, Maurice Harron who is creating the sculptures for the C.S. Lewis Square.
 
The trip was part of this year’s C.S. Lewis Festival and included a visit to the famous Grianan of Aileach fort. Attendees also got a glimpse of the art sculptures that are being created for our C.S.
