On Friday 12th April over 300 people got their blue outfits on and joined us 'Walking Off The Blues'.
Despite a bit of rain the event was a huge success! In total, together we raised £600 for East Belfast Community Counselling! You can still donate online by visiting www.everydayhero.co.uk/walkingofftheblues.
This event was organised by Active Belfast, East Belfast Partnership’s Health and Good Relations project and the Connswater Community Greenway team the walk highlighted how walking can help your mental health. The walk also promoted wellbeing, provided information about local walking and wellbeing groups, and encouraged people to talk to their neighbours and help people make new friends.
On the day there was fantastic blues music from the lovely Mama Kaz.
If you want to find out some information on joining a walking group please email eleanor@eastbelfastpartnership.org.

This week we had a lot of little helpers from Bloomfield Community Association helping out at the Avoniel Community Garden.
Our helpers braved the elements to get their beans planted in their very own raised bed!
Big thanks to Bloomfield Community Association for lending a hand. We can see you had lot's of fun!
If you want to get involved in the community garden drop by any Weds between 1-4pm or email sean@eastbelfastpartnership.org.
On Weds 27th March the Mayor of Drogheda, Councillor Paul Bell and his guests came to visit the CCG to learn more about the project.
The Mayor of Belfast Alderman Gavin Robinson was also in attendance.
Great to spread the word about the Connswater Community Greenway!
