Walk Wednesdays is back!

Starting Wednesday April 25th 11am!

Over the last year we've had great success with our weekly walking group and welcomed people from all different backgrounds and locations. It's been a delight to see friendships formed and hear the feedback from those that have come along to the walks. Come rain or shine (but not snow!) we've braved the elements week in week out as we explored the Greenway with our guide Trevor.

Volunteers needed for Parc study

Queen’s University Belfast are carrying out a £1million study on the Connswater Community Greenway known as PARC (Physical Activity and the Regeneration of Connswater). The study is a ‘before and after’ evaluation of the impact of the CCG on the physical activity, health and wellbeing of residents living near the Greenway. Further information can be found here.

CCG in the running for top award

Two east Belfast building projects have been shortlisted in the prestigious RICS Northern Ireland Awards 2018.

Love Your Greenway

With love in the air on Valentine's Day we wanted to celebrate all the things we love about the Connswater Community Greenway with the second year of our #LoveYourGreenway campaign- a series of events encouraging everyone to look after the Greenway and promote good use.

Photography competition

To coincide with RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch we launched a Photography competition to encourage everyone who uses the Greenway to keep an eye out for the wealth of birds we have dotted along Belfast's wildlife corridor.

We were overwhelmed by the responses and were delighted to see so many entries showcasing a fantastic array of wildlife along the Connswater Community Greenway.

The judges met and after a long time deciding chose the 3 winners.
